Little Food Pantries

Marshall has 11 little food pantries in different locations around town.  Southside manages one that is located at the end of our parking lot.  We know times can be tough and not everyone can meet their most basic needs.

We are thankful to have the opportunity to team up with Convoy of Hope to help meet the basic needs of our community.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response.

In partnership with local churches, businesses, civic organizations, and government agencies, Convoy strategically offers help and hope to communities around the world.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.  You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

"I Care" Ministry

This ministry is to help those struggling with an illness, recovering from surgery, new parents, or coping with a loss by providing: meals, transportation, or house cleaning.  These individuals are willing to serve others and are always looking for additional ways to help those in need.

Foster Care Kids Birthdays

Southside doesn’t want the Foster Care Children in our community to go unnoticed.  In honor of these children, we as a church have chosen to purchase a gift along with a cake mix and frosting for these precious children to celebrate a birthday that may not have been celebrated before.  We want them to know the love Jesus has for them as well.

Path to Freedom

Path to Freedom‘s mission is to help individuals, families, and communities that are dealing with life-challenging and controlling problems, find wholeness in Christ.

Path to Freedom classes meet every Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Sale Barn located at 1399 N. Odell, Marshall, MO.

Mission Teams are welcome throughout the year!  Mission Teams do a variety of things from maintenance projects/cleaning/painting, putting together activities for kids and helping with events they have on campus.  Teams also bring a variety of people: pastors, painters, carpenters, photographers, teachers, and so many more.
