Little Food Pantries

Marshall has 11 little food pantries in different locations around town.  Southside manages one that is located at the end of our parking lot.  We know times can be tough and not everyone can meet their most basic needs.

We are thankful to have the opportunity to team up with Convoy of Hope to help meet the basic needs of our community.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response.

In partnership with local churches, businesses, civic organizations, and government agencies, Convoy strategically offers help and hope to communities around the world.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.  You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

Foster Care Kids Birthdays

Southside doesn’t want the Foster Care Children in our community to go unnoticed.  In honor of these children, we as a church have chosen to purchase a gift along with a cake mix and frosting for these precious children to celebrate a birthday that may not have been celebrated before.  We want them to know the love Jesus has for them as well.

Nursing Home

Southside has an opportunity to go into our local Nursing Home and minister to those that are unable to come to in person service.  There is an opportunity to help out with a service once a month with a devotional message and/or to help with music.

Ice Cream Truck

Southside aims to engage with our local community and foster relationships by taking our ice cream truck out into the community and offering free ice cream to anyone we come into contact with.
